Move, Nourish, Believe: MOVE week recap

I'm participating in the Move, Nourish, Believe Challenge put on by Lorna Jane and FitApproach.

This week, we focused on the MOVE aspect of the challenge and completed 5 challenges, which I recorded on Instagram and Twitter. Search for #mnbchallenge to see what the others have been up to.

 Favorite Way to Sweat

I was in LA for the week because I won a trip to the Biggest Loser Finale from Planet Fitness.  I had just finished this DVD before the trip and I brought it along for Dolvett to sign!  So, there is my current favorite way to sweat, from my awesome hotel room on Sunset Blvd.

Sweat a Different Way

With the time difference, I was up at about 5am, so I decided to let Hubby sleep and checked out the Move, Nourish, Believe workouts, where I found the Travel Workout and felt inspired to do a few Ab Cycles until he woke up.

5 Minute Plank

We spent Wednesday enjoying out last bit of time in LA and spent the afternoon/evening traveling. We got home just before 10pm and I tried to get in some planking before cuddling up with my 2yo. I have to admit, I never finished my five minutes and fell asleep with my baby.

Buddy Up

My cuddle buddy from Wednesday night, was also my workout buddy Thursday. We did a lot of running around and jumping during our Tiny Twisters gymnastics class!

Five Fitness Favorites

We ended the week by sharing our five fitness favorites. I shared: meal planning, staying active my favorite way - playing with the kids, motivational quotes, yummy recipes and creating new ones, and anything that makes working out at home easier - like DVDs.

There you have it! Next week is NOURISH week! Get excited!

  1. Awesome job! I was so excited to start the challenge but had an injury that put me out most of the week so I just scratched it off my list and called it quits. I know, bad. :)
