My Little Lady has these adorable Janie and Jack shorts that I have been dying to put on her. All of her clothes right now seem to have very specific color schemes, and bright pinks, teals, and oranges will not do!
If you're familiar with Janie and Jack, they have amazing clothes! The quality is unbelievable and the prices reflect it. It may not be a lot to some people but, even on clearance, these shorts were a bit more than I would spend.
Yesterday I decided, with how fast this lady is growing, these shorts cannot sit it the drawer any longer. I stuck a plain white onesie on her and knew exactly what to do.
I saw a random newborn mitten that one of the kids had pulled out from somewhere. It wasn't the pretty Kelly Green in the shorts, but it was still a great color.
I twisted the mitten and folded the opening up so the ruffle was around the "flower." (Thank you to all you creative ladies who have been placing adorable fabric rosettes on things for the idea!)
I pinned the rosette up near the shoulder and it looked much more like an outfit than a plain old onesie!
I think she approves!
Love this idea! Very Creative!!

ReplyDeleteOk, first of all, I wish I had those shorts for myself, because they are the cutest things ever. Second, what a great idea to use a mitten as a rosette! I love it!!
